Discover a beach getaway where you can listen to the roar of the Pacific Ocean! The Little Orca's Place is a cute home located just across the street from the beach, very near the public access to the clam digging beach in Moclips - a short walk to the sand! Perfect for small families or couples, this vacation rental house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and sleeps up to 5 people. On the Moclips River, this peaceful town is the perfect destination for a romantic or restful getaway!
Moclips is an ideal base for exploring the spectacular west coast of the Olympic Peninsula. Lake Quinault is a short 30-40 minute drive away, and the scenic beaches of the Olympic National Park lie north of there. Pacific Beach, Seabrook, and Ocean Shores are nearby as well.
Spend a day outdoors enjoying the incredible natural scenes surrounding you. Explore Pacific Beach State Park or the numerous nearby parks with trails that are perfect for hiking or running. You can also go kayaking along the Moclips River or enjoy an afternoon stroll along the beach.
Access your inner child and fly a kite or build a sand castle at the beach. During the fall, winter, and spring seasons, you can dig for clams,= or fish in the surf. In the winter, bald eagles are a common sight.
On the rainy or colder months, you can explore the Sandphifer Gallery. The museum of North Beach is another place to wander through. There are beachside restaurants between Moclips and Ocean Shores and fine dining can be had at the nearby Ocean Crest Resort.
We had a great stay, the location is a very short walk to the path to the beach. There is construction across the street, so the view is affected, but there was no noise. The house is quaint and a happy space in need of a few repairs but an overall fun place to relax after a day at the ocean or exploring the fantastic tide pools an hour or so north.

Needs updating. Had trouble with the electrical on our last night. Part of house outlets and lights were dimming then getting bright. Turned them off. Went to turn on and they were completely off but only certain lights and outlets didn’t work. About a half hour later the ones that were out came back on all at once. Didn’t feel comfortable staying the last night because of the electrical. Roku said not connected to the internet whenever we tried using it. It did have all the necessities and was in a very good location. The owners responded to our texts.

My family had stayed at Little Orca's Place a few years ago. When we decided to take another weekend excursion to the ocean, we knew we wanted to stay at the property again.
The property offers great access to the beach and an easy drive to Ocean Shores, Pacific Beach, and other nearby spots. Moclips made for a cozy and relatively quiet locale to stay along the coast.
With its well-equipped kitchen, we had most everything we needed to prepare our meals. And we could relax in the living room if we needed to put our feet up after walking around town or the beach.
After a couple of stays at Little Orca's Place, we recommend it to anyone looking to spend a stretch of time right off the ocean.

This property needs work. It was not inviting at all. Sub floors are scary. Back door doesn't work and was blocked. Windows were filthy! Carpets in the bathroom weren't clean. I could go on.
The location was great. Wr would not recommend this property.

I had stayed at Little Orca's Place with my family a few years ago, and we always remembered what a good time we had then. We thought it would be an ideal spot for another summer vacation this year.
We enjoyed having easy access to the beach and took full advantage of the good weather we had during our stay, whether that meant a morning stroll or a sunset walk along the water.
The house itself made for a comfortable spot to relax. Being so close to the water, we could open the windows and listen to the waves or enjoy the breeze coming in off the ocean. The location also made it easy to make side trips to Pacific Beach and Ocean Shores for a bit of antiquing.
Since we also like to cook during our vacations, we appreciated the fully equipped kitchen.
We had a fun time at Little Orca's Place again, and we will be sure to keep it in mind for another beach vacation.
