  • Nice place to land after a long day

    The place was really nice. We did not know about the fans and once we found those it helped as the top floor was really hot (but the weather was excellent for hiking)

    We were able to find parking rather easily as you can't park in the driveway as it its tiny. And although you could walk to stores around the area its up a pretty good hill you would really need to be in good shape. Driving however, was easy the freeway entrance was about a minute drive so easy access to I-90. We really enjoyed the town and the ease of driving access to the surrounding places of interest such as Hiking Rattle Snake Lake, Seattle waterfront and the ferries, Snoqualmie falls and Lake Sammamish.

  • A great stay!

    This was a great place for an extended stay! It was spacious, very comfortable, and had all the kitchen amenities I needed for cooking and making coffee, and general day to day tasks. The townhouse style is a bit different if you're not used to it, but it didn't create any issues at all. Even the parking situation turned out better than expected. We always found two spots right at the end of the street!

    Jenn was super easy to communicate with. She was always fast to respond, and was very helpful with any questions. And she was accommodating when I needed to extend my stay at the last minute.

    The area was great as well. A walk up the hill takes you directly to the a trail network for tons of walking/hiking. The neighborhood is tucked away, but it's really accessible to get to main shopping and dining areas.

    I'd highly recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

  • Cougar Ridge

    The property is a relatively narrow three story townhouse in a densely built neighborhood atop a steep ridge. There is no parking adjacent to the property and unloading/loading the car requires blocking the street. Entrance is a ground level foyer with a long steep staircase to the main level. Another staircase must be negotiated to access bathrooms and bedrooms, which are on the third level. There was no access to the garage.-which is where the garbage cans are kept. There is no cable tv provided- requiring us to use our own netflix and amazon subscriptions.. The property was adequate for our requirements but is not suitable for someone with mobility limitations. This should be specified in the listing.

    Owner's response: "James, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip.
    - The home is accurately described in the listing as a quaint 2 bedroom, 2 bath it shows the stairs in the photos and even mentions that there are 33 stairs required to access the property.
    - In the listing it notes that 2 vehicles can be parked on the street first come first serve, also there is permitted parking down the street, we provide parking passes, we're sorry for the inconvenience
    - We are an average-sized home I'm not sure what you mean by narrow, we passed all inspections of the home and nothing was any smaller or narrower than the average home
    - We're sorry we do not have garage access

    We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We are doing our best to make this a vacation home away from home and will continue to strive for a 5-star experience for all our guests."
