• Would Not Stay Again

  This was a ski weekend with my family from teenagers to seniors. A weekend get away we have taken time and time again but in different accommodations (other VRBOS). To sum it up...broken dishwasher with a cardboard sign inside that says don't use, cheap shotty home renovations with paint over spray on wood trim and outlet sockets, missing smoke detectors in bedrooms and hallways (they were sitting a shelf in the closet), and to top it off the pipes froze leaving us no running water to wash dishes, shower or flush toilets'. Freezing pipes is unacceptable 15 minutes from a ski resort in the mountains. Pipes obviously were not covered in preparation to rent out in the Winter. When I contacted the host, he was unreachable!!! I never heard back regarding my circumstances. The Evolve team did respond regarding my stay. Thank you Evolve. So many other wonderful places to stay. Do not stay here!

• Great space for ski trip!

  Had everything we needed. Very nice and accommodating of our requests. Perfect for our family of 4 with two high school kids for a quick ski trip.

• Not what was expected

  The refrigerator wouldntkeep anything to temp because apparently they just turned it on before we got there. Our frozen stuff thawed. There was water in the frig from them turning it on. There was a used tamon or something gross under the couch i didnt touch it it is still there. No one said a train was going to keep me up all night long. The dish washer was broke. The tv wouldnt work the dvd wouldnt work. Covering holes in walls with a picture. Front pouch light didnt work. Trash filled and left outside. Felt gross. 12 miles still to gold bar. Not anything i would have rented if i would have known. I didnt even finish my stay but our other patry did.

• Nice place with a few disappointments

  The cabin was very nicely decorated and clean.

  Negatives:

  First night the front door lock didn’t work. Cleaners left it open for me so I’m not sure it was working before. Called owner and he said because “I pushed too many buttons” I sent it into pre-program mode. My call was made at approximately 5 pm, lock was fixed at 11:30 pm and all it needed was battery replaced, no pre-programming. No instructions on how to lock up. Customers don’t know to push the logo. Emergency key should be left on premises in case lock doesn’t work.

  Dishwasher not working, tried to use the drier and it was full of linens which I emptied and put back, no window cover in one bedroom so we used pillows to block light out to sleep, front and back yard completely over grown I couldn’t see the fire pit much less use it! There’s a platform bed in one bedroom that is about 6 inches off the floor, completely unusable for adults. The picture is deceiving for that room because of the way it was taken and finally there’s no mention of a train running 3-4 times a night with the horn blaring. That should be in the ad as the cabin is literally 100 feet away. Again the cabin is nice but definitely needs attention to details.

  My party enjoyed our stay at this place. The listing is as shows, it was spacious, clean and easy to find. The owner was easy to communicate and very accommodating! Would be happy to stay here again
