Though a little off the beaten track, we loved this sweet little bungalow. It was a perfect size for me, my daughter & my granddaughter. In addition to the usual amenities, we especially appreciated the extra little touches--slippers & robes, charging stations, dimmer lights. This house also had the best library of books that I've ever seen!

From the owner: "Thank you for this great review; it is much appreciated. We are big readers, and our time at the cottage, even with all the opportunities on the island, is to read. Limiting ourselves to the space, we try to keep a wide collection and some Island authors as well, so there is a little churn in the collection. Whidbey has great bookstores, in particular Moonraker in Langley and Kingfisher in Coupeville, both regular stops for us."
We were visiting Whidbey for a dear friend’s celebration of life. This cottage was perfect, close to the venue, clean, quiet, and well equipped. One of the most well done vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. They thought of everything. It was a lovely stay.

Amazing small property with a beautiful deck... For those wishing to go to the mainland, just important to note that the ferries can fill up quickly, so plan accordingly.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this Whidbey Island coastal cottage. The Green Door is well stocked with essentials for meal prep and adequate cookware. There is a lovely selection of tea and spices. We enjoyed driving to view the evening sunsets, and purchasing eggs and fruit from local farms nearby. Thanks to the great hosts for this peaceful stay.
All furnishings are quality, everything is charming and comfortable. Huge, beautiful cedar trees are special feature of the sweet little house.
