The house was so cozy and truly had everything we needed for our little ski trip. It was close enough to Mount Snow but also really nice and secluded and quiet at the same time. Everything was very clean and had everything we need. Would definitely come back
We stayed at The Cozy Bear Cabin for a ski weekend with friends, and it was the perfect place to stay. The cabin is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac with a beautiful, private backyard, which made it feel peaceful and relaxing. It was cozy, very clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed for the weekend.
The location was ideal, just a short drive to the ski mountain, making it easy to go back and forth throughout the day if needed. The bedrooms were a great, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
Overall, we had a wonderful weekend at The Cozy Bear Cabin and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!
A MUST STAY! If your looking for an EXCELLENT well-rounded get away(for any season), look no further! This stay was truly one of the BEST weekend escapes and this is coming from someone who is a big weekender. True to the pictures, you can tell as soon as you step into the Cozy Bear Cabin that the hosts put so much TLC in creating this space. First off, the welcome basket- what an incredible touch. The fixtures are modern, bathrooms are updated and beds are SOO COZY and comfortable. Not to mention-the heated floors in the bathroom and the slippers for walking outside to the hot tub- also an impeccable touch. There is everything you can possibly need for your stay including a washer and dryer in case you are taking an extended stay and want to pack light.
AMENITIES: The cabin is situated in a large community with unmatched amenities- we didn’t even have time do utilize all of them despite staying for an extended weekend. For the winter lovers, this includes a Zamboni-ed ice rink (WITH skates to use), small hills for sledding, a wide snowmobile/cross country ski trail that gets groomed and that cuts through the community. Right from the back yard, there is a shorter connected, pine-tree filled trail that overlooks a creek. With a fresh snow, you feel like you are walking through a winter wonderland. There are hiking trails, that are accessible by car, within the community that are great for snowshoeing and uphill touring in the winter. We didn’t get to use the fire pit but there was plenty of seating (even for the little ones). The clubhouse is a bit more rustic and perfectly complements the modern amenities of the home. There is an entertainment kitchen/bar/book nook/indoor pool/hot tub/gym/ outdoor pool (for summer goers), and what seemed like a lot of activities that take place there. With all the fun adventures mentioned above right in the community- we didn’t even get to check out the local mountains the last time we stayed. Mt. Snow is 10 min away/ Stratton is 15 min away/ Magic Mtn (for all the mom/pop mountain lovers) is just under an hour. Alpine Glow in town is a MUST. The hosts had the best recommendations in the welcome book.
Overall, the home is perfect for couples, single families, or extended families who don't mind cozying up for the weekend! I already booked in advance for the summer months to stay again.
If you are looking for a stay that can be either choosably relaxing and/or rugged- The Cozy Bear Cabin should be priority!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Vermont cabin and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. The fire pit was a highlight in the evenings, perfect for relaxing after a long day outdoors. We especially loved soaking in the jacuzzi under the gorgeous Vermont sky!
The amenities and location really set this place apart. Having access to ice skating, hiking, and an indoor pool made it feel like a true resort, with something fun to do no matter the weather. It’s also so close to Mount Snow, making skiing incredibly convenient, and the downtown area with incredible restaurants and shops.
Whether you’re here for winter sports or just a peaceful escape, this cabin delivers on all fronts. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Vermont vacation!
Joe,
Can't thank you and your family enough for the kind words. And thank you very much for taking such good care of the house, you guys are welcome back anytime!!
Excellent cozy stay. My family and I really enjoyed the peace and serenity in the mountains. It was decorated impeccably, like out of a magazine (and I'm picky), and the finishings were top-notch and so clean. The private outdoor hot tub was amazing-steamy, secluded and relaxing. The wood burning fireplace was the perfect touch. Wood and kindling was also provided. The bathrooms were upscale-huge bathtub, lots of shower pressure and the tiled floor was heated! Some extras we also enjoyed were the games, fuzzy blankets, oversized recliner couches, scented candle, smart tv's and lots of room to prep and cook in the top notch kitchen. We also enjoyed a 1st floor primary bedroom while our children were upstairs, plenty of towels, a basket of smores supplies and immediate contact with hosts-who were polite, responsive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend! 5 Stars!
