First stay at Sweetheart Barn
5/5 We've had the pleasure to stay at the sibling property -- The Splendid Splinter -- several times. This was the first time that a smaller group of us stayed at the Sweetheart Barn. Husband and I enjoyed the barn for one night alone before being joined by our teenage son. Hosts are so easy to work with: check-in/out a breeze; questions answered quickly. Great location: beautiful view and close to Putney/Brattleboro. House and barn lovely. Will be back!

A Home Run
5/5 When my wife asked where I wanted to go for a birthday getaway (sans kids) I immediately suggested The Splendid Splinter after having followed the construction progress on line for several months. Regardless of whether you are a sports nut or not, The Splinter was indeed Splendid! Very relaxing and meticulously landscaped, we throughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again soon. And if you happen to be a baseball aficionado, you will enjoy the plethora of baseball pictures and memorabilia!
