This house was just as described and a great, east getaway from the Boston area! The bedrooms and living room are comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is well-equipped with the basics and new appliances. The heating system works well and the house feels cozy. Everything is updated, organized, and easy to use. We didn’t get to use Mount Ascutney because a surprise warm up melted the snow but the house is just a few minute drive away. Instead, we went tubing at Okemo (35 mins away) and spent a nice evening in Woodstock (30 mins away). All three generations - two tweens, two parents, and grandma - and our dog had a great time!

From the owner: "Thank you, Jenna. I'm glad you all enjoyed your time at Far Cry Lodge. Come back soon—I'm sure we can arrange some colder weather. Regards."
Perfect location and amenities for a mountain bike getaway on Ascutney. Trailhead is .1 miles up the road, the cottage (HOUSE) has everything you could ask for plus cornhole!

Another great stay at Far Cry Lodge Ascutney. Don't think that there is a better base for Mountain Biking around. FCR has everything you could want and is a very short distance to the trailhead.
Fantastic home in a great area. The home was very well equipped and clean. Would definitely recommend and plan on booking again for next year. Thank you!
From the owner: "Thank you, Rachel. Look forward to your return. All the best."
