We - adult couple - had a Saturday to Saturday rental in late June. We also had two single family members visit for one night each. This is a case where the on-line photos accurately show how special this house is. The house itself is charming, and ideal for smaller groups...our guests were delighted with the loft bedroom and bath. It also is the BEST equipped home I've rented in 40-odd years of vacation rentals. There is absolutely nothing that isn't provided. But apart from the style and comfort of the house is the spectacular view of Lake Champlain...from the house, from the deck, and from the terrace below. During our week we had quite varied weather, from stormy and windy with whitecaps, to sunny, warm and dead calm. And the lake was fascinating at all times. And toss in several stunning sunsets. A final major plus is the close availability of several very fine dining options, both more formal for dinner and casual for lunches...so it's certainly not necessary to cook at home very often. Bottom line: we loved our week here and plan to go back!

You absolutely cannot beat the setting. I'm in the moment to pull it off of the street. It's magical. This will be our third year in a row and we've already booked the fourth year.

Fantastic and very well equipped house in a stunning location on the lake side. The lake was high this summer and we were able to swim and fish off the dock and in the water (wading), as well as explore the immediate coast using the owners Kayak. The owner was very helpful and responded immediately to any questions that we had. Quiet, lovely area, beautiful views and sunsets from the house and expansive deck which had lots of seating including loungers. Would highly recommend. Loved the local store Hero’s Welcome. For food shopping, best to stock up before travelling to N Hero as local shops have limited stock and are expensive. Cautionary note to definitely wear watershoes if swimming as our daughter cut her foot on the sharp stones.
Nice house in a fantastic location right on the lake. Beautiful mountains and sunsets. Close to North Hero marina for launching a boat. A little tricky parking my 16 ft boat & trailer, but doable. Can catch fish right from the dock.
