3/5 Lovely water views and breezes from the lake. Very quick drive up to Magog if you want to make a day trip. The town center itself is a little sparse with options for dining, as it seems many have recently closed or are working from limited hours — however there are options within a short drive. The property could use a bit of updating but was comfortable for what we used it for. The pool heater was under repair during our stay, but that's beyond anyone's control.

"Thank you for staying in our condo on the lake. I’m glad you enjoyed the lovely view and the comfort of our place. Part of the charm of our community is that it is a small rural town. So all the options are not like the bigger cities. I provided a guestbook with many options for places to dine locally. The condo you stayed in has new mattresses and furniture in the last two years. The flooring and blinds have been replaced recently, and all appliances have been updated, also including a new refrigerator and coffee maker this year. Please reach out to me with specifics, and I would be happy to replace anything I may have overlooked. 5/5 I grew up in Newport and still have lots of family and close friends in Newport and surrounding towns. Holbrook Condominiums is the perfect place to stay. It has a Great “Lake Memphremagog” view with fabulous sunrises, some of the best I’ve ever seen.
In addition it is quiet, clean, comfortable, well equipped, and has WiFi. It is close to Jay Peak Ski area and several charming spots in Canada such as Bleu Lavendar, a lavender Farm in Magog, Quebec. Also, the Lake stretches 20+ miles up into Canada and we have boated to Magog on several occasions, enjoying lunch and shopping. We have also enjoyed day trips to Burlington, VT and to Stowe, Vt. A bonus for me is that it is convenient to be with nearby family and friends.
It is the perfect spot to be when I and my husband are visiting Newport.
