• Friends getaway

  We had a very pleasant time at this cottage. Nice and secluded, quiet and everything you need in the house. We cooked a lot and were happy to find more than enough kitchen equipment. We also really enjoyed the wood stove and collection of old CDs and cassettes. If you are looking for a cozy getaway, this is a great place to stay.

• Cute and private

  Great little place. Unfortunately we got rained out for our intended ski weekend. But made the best of it. Mud season is a real thing. I was aware the property was on a dirt road, my little Subaru made it… barely. Due to how muddy it was I did leave it down the road on a paved portion and walked back to the house. Not a bad walk. Myrtle was great, very informative and helpful when I was worried about parking down the road. All was well. I would definitely stay again, just probably avoiding mud season, or have a big pick up truck or Jeep to get around. All in all a great girls weekend. Lots of adventures.

• Lovely Cabin

  We loved the location of this property- right between some great skiing. It fit two couples nicely, the third room we did not use, but would have been very tight- was a bunk bed basically in a closet. I say cabin because it was a rustic cabin. If you are thinking of staying here, and like that sort of thing, you will love this place. It has a cabin smell, high exposed beams with cobwebs, and is pretty no frills- we liked this all, but if you stay here without this expectation, you might not appreciated it being rustic. The beds were really comfy, water pressure amazing with nice hot water after a day of skiing. We used the kitchen for breakfast, and heating up food. Some simple suggestions--new coffee maker and toaster, they both worked if you jiggled them.-cleaning… we liked the rustic feel, but if you pulled out a book to read there were mouse droppings, all the vents were webby, for the price we paid, maybe invest in a deep spring cleaning.With all of this said, we would stay here again. The fireplace was especially easy to work and cozy:). Thank you!

  - Their usual cleaner was out sick, and they had to use a substitute who was not familiar with the property
  - Now that their usual cleaner is back, they have scheduled a deep clean
  - They'll also order a new toaster & coffee maker
