This is a beautiful cottage on a nice large lake. Clean, open concept main floor with 3 nice bedrooms and comfy beds. Great area for tourist attractions within a short drive, wonderful lake for kayaking or paddleboarding (we brought our own) and large side yard for frisbee and other activities. We had a great time!
Our stay was extremely relaxing ! We fished, and enjoyed the water Listening to the loons and bird watching especially the Cardinals was wonderful!
Great place to relax
What is not clear from the property description is the bathroom situation. There is one full bath on the ground floor, with a tub that has been raised a foot high which makes getting in and out a problem. Then a tiny partial bath with toilet and sink is on the second floor in the master bedroom, so other people must come through the master bedroom. The place is pretty and could be great if these details are tended to. Also, despite putting in beautiful new windows, access the the loveliest part of the property, which is on the water, is not possible. There needs to be French doors and access to a deck on the water. All clean and comfortable otherwise.

Hi Marly, we're sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The tub is raised 6 inches because there is no basement, and there needs to be room for the plumbing systems to run underneath the tub. We're sorry if this caught you off guard
- As shown in the description and photos, the bathroom upstairs is an en-suite to the master bedroom by design. It has a toilet, sink, and storage
- To access the water, guests must walk out the front door and around the house about 100 feet. If we renovate the home in the future, we might consider adding french doors
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
Great lake. Cute cottage
