This charming lakeside cottage, featuring unique historical details, is bound to be your new favorite Lake Champlain home-away-from-home! Built in the early 20th century, the cottage served as a studio in the 1920s, where an artist created covers for the Saturday Evening Post. Since then, several authors have completed books and dissertations during their stays. Needless to say, you'll be inspired upon your arrival at this remarkable St. Albans vacation rental cottage!
Located on a private point of land, the location of this west-facing cottage is unbeatable! The property allows easy access to all of the area's most popular attractions, like Burton Island State Park, Hathaway Point, and Georgia Beach. Additionally, fishing and hiking near the lake are strong draws for visitors.
Directly in front of the property's private beach is a well-known bass fishing hole frequented by locals. Also near the shoreline that lies outside of the home is a small cove and beachfront swimming area.
Rent kayaks or boats in town for an exciting day out on the lake, or hunt for your next treasure at the area's antique stores.
Whether you're coming to get inspired and release your creative energy or just spend some relaxing time by the water, this fantastic St. Albans vacation rental cottage is sure to keep you coming back year after year.
Sherry and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very well equipped cottage, near enough to Burlington for day trips, but secluded on Lake Champlain. Martha & Jim were great hosts. Highly recommended place.

The lovely peaceful location on Lake Champlain with a private rocky beach is the highlight of this property. The hosts Martha and Jim were very welcoming; they met me upon my arrival and gave me a tour of the historic cabin and property. The cabin has a well equipped kitchen; the living room is stocked with books. The theme of the decor is fishing, appropriate to the lake location and its boating culture. The hosts also live on the property in a separate house, and so are nearby if there is ever a problem. Recommended.

We loved the time we spent at Breezy Point! Jim and Martha were great hosts. They gave us a tour of the property when we arrived. They couldn't have been nicer. This is a wonderful little cabin on the shore of Lake Champlain. I highly recommend staying here.

The owners were terrific?very helpful finding the best in local attractions and goodies. The house was very charming comfortable and clean, just like the pictures online. We loved the lake access for swimming and launching our small sail boat. I would highly recommend this property. Lots to do in the area.

The hosts were pleasant and informative. Your privacy was their first concern. Most of the comforts of home were available and the breeze off the lake broke some of the heat of the day. Given most days the daytime temp. was in the mid to upper 90s. As we enjoyed every aspect of our vacation! I would recommend this property to anyone, and are considering booking it for same time in 2019!
