  • Family Vacation

    5/5

We had a great family vacation. Cabin was cozy and accommodating. The only down side was the very small kitchen but was stocked with utensils and appliances.

  • Quaint property with a few considerations

    4/5

This cabin was located in a very quiet neighborhood, a quaint little get-a-way. We loved the woodsy vibe, the hot-tub, and the extra lounge/tv area upstairs. There are two refrigerators, one in the garage and one in the kitchen, which is great for large groups. My favorite part was the deck. They had an extra large outdoor sectional, and the patio table seated 8+, which was amazing!Unfortunately, we stayed in the middle of a heat wave, and there was no AC. They did have ceiling fans and we also brought our own, but it was rough. The backyard is also not as large as the pictures suggest, and one of the king rooms doesn't have a full floor-to-ceiling wall. It's right next to the room with multiple beds and the entertainment area, so be strategic about who sleeps there and if they're a night owl like all the kids!My only major complaint is that we had quite a bit of trouble with the grill. It hadn't been properly taken care of, there was grease, grime, and ash everywhere to the point where it wouldn't fully alight. We had to take it apart and scrub the burners in order to get it to work properly.Overall a cute little property.

    Manager's Response:

    From the owner: "Hello Ashlee,
Thank you for staying at our property in Bridgewater, and we appreciate the kind words about our property.
The house sits on an acre with no neighbors, so we believe the backyard is a good size.
The grill has been cleaned, and it is operating correctly. I learned that Weber grills could get an airlock in the propane system, and it is easy to remove the airlock.
    Regards,
    Paul."

  • Wonderful Experience!

    5/5

We recently stayed in the cabin for our friends weekend to ski in Killington. We had a great time! The cabin was perfect and easily fit 15 of us. It was also in a beautiful location with no neighbors to bother you. The hot tub and the comfy couches were also a plus! It was about a 25 min drive to Killington and down the street from long trail brewery. Highly recommend!

  • The Log House

    3/5

No towels seriously, beds were not made! one garbage bag available for a house that houses 15! Zero cell service and spotty internet!

    Manager's Response:

From the owners: "We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at the Log House. We have tried to be clear in our listing that towels are not provided. We do not provide them in order to keep the cleaning fee lower for our guests. Clean bed sheets are left folded on beds so guests can make up their own beds knowing that the sheets are clean and had not been slept in. This seems to be a preference as a result of COVID-19. As for the garbage bag situation, we apologize that there was only one bag left by the cleaning crew. There should have been more bags provided. We have already reviewed this with the cleaning crew in order to prevent this from happening again. As for cell service, yes, it is true that there is limited cell service in the area for the main mobile carriers, however, cell phones do work in the house using the home WiFi. We've never had a problem with WiFi calling, however, some people don't realize that they need to select "allow WiFi calling" on their mobile devices for it to work. As for spotty internet, this is the first time we've heard this complaint. Sometimes the WiFi signal is not as strong on the opposite side of the house from where the router is located. We added extenders to try to alleviate this issue. Thank you for your feedback and your stay!"

  • Great place to spend winter vacation!

    5/5

The place is clean and well maintained. The property contact, Paul, was very responsive and accommodating.
