We arrived to find there was no heat in the rental. I contacted the host who informed me someone was there earlier and to hold on. I had to contact her again asking for an update,a half an hour later. We were then informed they would have someone out in the morning. The house was freezing. I informed the host the morning was not acceptable, especially considering it was winter. I also informed the host we were not provided with any wifi information, the toilet looked like someone had diarrhea in it, and the over had dirty greasy silicone baking sheets in it. We had also noticed on the way out the fire alarm in the kitchen was hanging. From the ceiling by its wires. We ended up having to get a hotel that night and for the remainder of the trip. We were told we would be fully refunded but have not seen the credit with our bank as of yet

- We’re actively working to repair the heater, which stopped working right before your arrival.
- We’re in the process of hiring a new cleaner to ensure the home meets the high standards expected for future stays.
- We will properly secure the smoke detector and inspect and clean all kitchen items thoroughly moving forward.
-The WiFi information is included in the house binder, which will be updated and reviewed to ensure all information is clear and up-to-date for future guests.
