Spur of the Moment Getaway
5/5 The decor fits the locale and age of the home. There is plenty to do nearby or just relax in the peace and quiet of the property. We started and ended each day on the front porch. It was so nice to be able to take our pups with us. We look forward to returning!

Great getaway!
5/5 If you’re into cool historic experiences, this is the place. Everything you need is right there - s’mores materials, campfire supplies, cooking spices and necessities, snacks, coffee and tea. I could go on. Wonderful little place and perfect for kids and dogs to play by the creek. Mom or dad can soak in the cast iron tub when the kids go to bed. Will be back!

Beautiful Old Farm House
5/5 My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Hammond House while hiking in nearby Shenandoah National Park. It was the coziest house with old world charm and lot of little features that made it feel like a home - from the big soaking tub to the s’mores supplies we used at the fire pit. I would absolutely stay here again.
