The property looks out across a beautiful lake with a spectacular island in the center, and it’s clear the owners are meticulously curating and pruning the grounds to maintain its natural charm. During my stay, I spent hours watching a herd of deer quietly feeding across the lake—an unforgettable sight that added to the retreat-like atmosphere. The experience was made even warmer by the sweet animals roaming the property, especially Lucious, the friendly dog, along with a charming cat who both made me feel right at home. The owners went out of their way to ensure I had a wonderful stay, and their kindness and attention to detail shine through in every aspect of this property. Hidden Lake truly offers the perfect combination of comfort, natural beauty, and hospitality.

5/5 Wonderful cabin in a very quiet area. Property was just right for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids under 5). Fishing, nearby hiking, and a wonderful furry companion, Monster, kept the kids busy and happy the entire time!

3/5 This could be a nice venue if they deal with some significant problems. There were a lot of cockroaches and other bugs. It was especially unpleasant to find a cockroach on my toothbrush! This place needs serious fumigation. The beds weren’t beds—they were cots with no box springs and thin cot mattresses. Spend a few bucks for real beds. The shower temperature was uncontrollable. I would start by turning it to all hot and once there, set it for a good temperature, In less than a minute it would go completely cold. Then after setting back to all hot, it took a minute to get hot. Then the process repeated. Very uncomfortable. The water was brownish for the first few days before eventually clearing up. I wasn’t convinced it was ever potable. If they fix these problems, it could be a cute getaway.
