  • Anniversary getaway

We absolutely love this place. We had such a nice and relaxing weekend here for our first anniversary. The owner was very polite and courteous. She left us a nice note wishing us a happy anniversary. Aside from the living room floor being a bit dirty with animal hair and dirt the place was wonderful. We both enjoyed the creek and the beautiful sights around the property and getting the occasional visit from one of the cows across the creek was a very welcome and pleasant surprise. Overall we would highly recommend staying here and we are looking forward to our next visit when we need that quiet getaway. Thank you so much for everything.

  • charming little trailer close to nature

Positive experience all around. The place was super clean when we arrived—especially appreciated as we have a pet rabbit and any dust bunnies stick to her whiskers as she explores but there were none at all here! The host Sarah was easy to reach, super friendly and helpful when we had about a small issue with the movie setup. It's clear she cares about her guests. We loved coffee on the porch with a little view of a mountain just over the hill and if you take the canoe under the bridge there's a beautiful huge rock face that meets the water. This place is a trailer — but that's part of the charm. Great location 10 min from Shenandoah River SP (beautiful!) and equidistant to 2 entrances to Shenandoah NP/ Skyline drive (20 min). Great little home base for a trip to the mountains.

  • Cozy cottage by the creek

My partner, our dog and I just loved this little place. It does say studio because there is no door on bedroom, but it didn't feel small at all. It's really all a couple would need or small family. Great value for the price. We saw the cows in the creek, we were very close to Luray with sites to see but also a Walmart and food store. Close to skyline drive. Will definitely go there again!!!!

  • Tranquil and relaxing location

We had a lovely stay! The location was perfect and the host had everything set up perfectly and very inviting. It was very neat, but still felt like you could kick your shoes off and relax. Bed(s) were very comfortable and the sound of the train whistle in the distance at night was kind of unexpected, but cool! We had visitors to the creek out back--cows cooled themselves off every night! We enjoyed watching them and we also sat down at the creek on the picnic table and listened to the bullfrogs and watched for fish jumping. It was definitely a great place to either be with nature or hang out in the cottage and hook in to wifi. Kind of the best of both worlds! We enjoyed being out in the country, but close enough to go and enjoy the different caverns--especially Luray Caverns! Wow! We will definitely be back and most likely extend our trip to a week! Thank you and thanks to Sarah the hostess with the mostest! Joni and Jim
