The house was perfect for our memorial day weekend getaway. We tied our jet skis to the pier, fished and also used our kayaks. Quick ride out to the Potomac River and explored shark tooth island. Big house with lots of space to spread out with a screen porch, large deck from the upper bedrooms and spacious back yard with wonderful views. About 10 minute drive into Montross where we enjoyed the brew pub and lots of wineries nearby. No wifi or washer/dryer for a 4 night minimum rental was the only negative.

House is in good shape and beautiful setting. As an international traveler, It is a shame it does not offer wifi, and it will be ideal if they added and good bbq grill. The kids has a great time swimming and jumping from the peer

This house was located in a quiet neighborhood, with a private dock and a fantastic view of the ocean. The house had plenty of space for our group. There were 2 kids' kayaks, fishing and crabbing equipment, bbq grill, etc. We enjoyed our stay over there. Highly recommend it.

This place was just what me and my friends needed! We were able to do a little rafting when the conditions allowed, relax on the dock, and get some sun on the porch/deck. Lots of land to set up and play lawn games, sit next to a fire, and grill. The area was nice and spaced out which was nice for privacy, and we were able to get out to a nice winery as well! This house is very reasonably priced so it was a nice cheap vacation option.
Note: Some of the photos appear to be a little outdated. There is a half-bath not pictured near the glass dining table, and the kayaks and paddleboard pictured are no longer there. The owner said that some of them likely got swept away in the creek. They had some small, kid-sized kayaks (130 lbs max). Also, if you have more than 3 adults that want to get out on the water at the same time, you may want to bring your some extra life jackets. But there was also a lot of room in the house to roam and was great for multiple couples!
