5/5 MR. Andy home was very lovely and cleaned. I didn't have any complaints about his home. I will definitely use this home again. He was also so easy to contacted if needed. If there was more stars to give I will give him a 10.
Relaxing and roomy
5/5 Home was clean, spacious, and well-stocked. Neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. Lots of convenient activities nearby. Great for large families. Owner was accommodating and easy to reach. Would definitely go back!

-Host was wonderful, house was spacious and clean, location was great, resort had tons to offer. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Pros
Location
-10 minutes from Elkton, which had a Food Lion Grocery store and a couple restaurants.
-25 minutes from Harrisonburg which was a larger town with a mall and lots of restaurant choices.
-25 minutes from Shenandoah’s Skyline Drive.
-40 minutes from Luray Caverns and the Giant Hedge maze.
-50 minutes from New Market and the Civil War Museum/battle grounds.
-2.5 hours from Washington DC.
Resort
-Couple Markets with some basic items/needs
-2 golf courses
-Water Park with Indoor and Outdoor area plus arcade attached.
-6 pools* (Only access to 2 of them)
-Adventure Park with go karts, putt putt golf, zip lines, bungee ball.
-2 restaurants in the resort, Campfire Grill and Base Camp.
-Little shop at Hopkins Park at the entrance of the resort sold wine slushes.
-Tons of deer to see on the resort including some very nice bucks.
- Beautiful overlook at the top of the resort with a few hiking trails.
-2 fishing ponds. (Fishing license required and available to purchase at the resort. Also equipment to rent if you didn’t bring your own.)
The House
- Plenty of space for our group of 12.
- Master bedroom is massive and all the bedrooms are large with the exception of the full bedroom.
- Plenty of plates, bowls, and silverware.
- AC worked great.
- Parking was easy for us to fit 4 car’s comfortably in the driveway.
The host
- Andy was super responsive and available to help with whatever was necessary.
Cons
- There are no free community pools to use. You have access to 2 of them but they charge 6 dollars a person because you are a guest of the owner.
Relaxing mountain getaway
5/5 We rented this property for our family to stay for my Daughter’s JMU graduation weekend.What a great location & beautiful home.The master bedroom is very spacious and the overall layout is accommodating and spacious for a family of 12.The amenities are just as described.Plan on returning for our next JMU graduation.The host is great with communication & quick to respond to questions.

Mountainous Experience
4/5 My family of 14 needed a quick mini vacay and chose this country living home. Everything was super clean and comfy. Overall the stay was excellent. I suggest bringing your own wash clothes if you don’t like cheap thin ones and if you have a huge family like we did so you are not washing every night. I will say the owner Andy was pleasant and responded to all my questions and concerns. Prepare to have a peaceful and scenic view
