Perfect little getaway
5/5 We could not have asked for a better stay at Clearwater Cabin! It had mostly everything we could need and more. The property is beautiful and private with trout stream running along side it. We will most certainly return for a visit in the warmer months!

Loved the Rustic Cozy Cabin!!!!!!!!!
5/5 This little rustic cabin was warm and inviting. Had most of everything you'd need. It is very secluded right on the Crab Run stream which was rolling while we were there from all of the rain. When you walked out on the lovely covered porch it always sounded like rain even if it wasn't raining due to the rolling stream. What a relaxing sound with your morning coffee on the porch. The gas wood stove made it nice and toasty inside and the large fire pit was wonderful for relaxing outside. All in all we loved this place and would go back again. You have to check out the local Sugar Tree Store in McDowell which is a mile away from the cabin. We got to meet Glen the owner of the store. We got an education about the area from him and enjoyed some good ole country hospitality. Be prepared to drive through the NFS mountains to get there and to get to other towns. The drives around were breath taking.

Great getaway
5/5 Clearwater cabin is a great place to kickback and relax and enjoy the outdoors. The wrap around porch is wonderful to sit on and listen to the stream. We will have to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the fire pit and do some fishing.
