Spring Break Stay
5/5 This was a wonderful cabin rental with a gorgeous view of the river. The floor to ceiling windows were such a delight. It was perfect for our family with two small children and dog. We enjoyed fishing in the morning, having our meals and seeing the wildlife (we saw a fox run quickly in the backyard), we went to Belle Isle state park for some hiking, and stargazing at night. The home offers plenty of space from neighbors for a lovely peaceful stay.

5/5 What a paradise! Everything at Merry Point was so beautifully and thoughtfully provided, from the comfortable beds and towels to the throw blankets and pillows on the couches. The kitchen was great - easy to navigate and well appointed. And the water views -- spectacular! We enjoyed watching the blue herons, ibises, and sea gulls. The quiet wooded setting was full of laurel, oaks, long needled pines, and oaks with an occasional deer. It was peaceful and secluded. The owners left great information and were quickly responsive to any questions we had. We can't wait to return!

Perfect place for our family
5/5 The property was delightful, though we had a few communication issues with Evolve, the management company. And it was one of the cleanest VRBOs we have ever experienced! The owners were helpful and easy to reach. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at this lakeside cabin.
