  My family and I absolutely love staying at the Point House. The home is lovely, well appointed, and always immaculate. The views from almost every room add to the tranquility of being on the water.

  We had coffee on the deck in the morning and wine in the afternoon. The loft provided a great space from which my adult children could work when necessary. My son has taken his boat, and the close proximity of the boat ramp is a huge plus. We took the boat to Merrior and Fish Hawk at the Tides Inn for lunch or just to get out on the water.

  The house is within walking or biking distance of Irvington, which is a great advantage. There is so much to do in the Irvington area, but we love just spending time at the house.

  The host has a wonderful supply of games to enjoy. My granddaughter loves the sandy beach area and the dock from which to fish. Our host is most gracious and available for any questions. This was our fourth year in a row at this lovely property, and we are looking forward to returning next year for our fifth visit.

• Charming Home

  We had a wonderful time while staying at Huckleberry Point.

  The house is so well appointed. It had everything we needed and so close to shops, if we needed anything. We walked to dinner, the Farmers Market, tennis & pickleball, The Local coffee shop, the school to play basketball, and Livi’s market. The kitchen was stocked really well, with plenty of cooking and serving dishes. The bedrooms were conditioned well and the beds and linens were very comfortable.

  The living areas were also very comfortable.

  It was nice to have toiletries available.

  We brought our boat and the docking was made easy. Kids enjoyed crabbing and fishing off of the dock.

  Our Hostess, Frances, was lovely and so glad we had the opportunity to connect with her and start a friendship.

  We definitely want to come back again soon!

• Irvington stay

  This property was fantastic for our stay. We were there for son's wedding so unfortunately we did not have much time to enjoy all the amenities the house had to offer. The views were specular and the house offered a variety of games for both children and adults. The kayaks and beach area were amazing. Unfortunately we ran out of time and were not able to enjoy them. The only drawback to the trip was that garbage needed to be dropped off at the dump and could not be left on the property. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to those looking for a fun family getaway.

Even with attending the wedding events, it is wonderful that you were all able to get out on the water and enjoy the beautiful weather on the Kayaks, and take in the spectacular views and sunsets! We totally understand it is not always typical to be responsible for your trash removal, and we do inform our renters of this, in our rental rules that you confirmed on the site prior to renting. It is true of many of the waterfront rural homes in the area, that trash pickup can not provide service, but we are thankful the refuse facility is only an 8 minute drive from our home, and most guest pass it's entrance conveniently as they leave town. • An Idyllic Retreat

  The owners of this fantastic VRBO make your stay feel like you're a welcome guest, rather than a renter! The location and proximity to the water provide the perfect spot for relaxation and recreation, while being quite close to excellent dining and shopping options. The home was immaculate and lovely with personal, beautiful, and charming touches throughout. I had a medical issue come up just before our trip, and the owners graciously allowed us to move our trip dates. From the reservation process to our check-out, the owners were responsive and helpful. Truly, of the numerous VRBO properties we've stayed at, this is our favorite and we will return!

• Special Spot!

  We loved spending our short time together at the Point House in Irvington. The weather happened to be rainy, but the views of Carter's Creek were still fantastic - unique from room to room. Next time we look forward to a sunny day walking historic Irvington together. Thank you to all the Williams family. ❤️
