The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. Great place to disconnect and very close to historical sites like Yorktown and Williamsburg. We really enjoyed our time there.

1. Back porch steps REALLY need work. We tripped down them several times over our stay.
2. Need to add "microwave" to amenities list.
3. If there's an outdoor fire pit, wood should be supplied or it shouldn't be listed as such. Buying enough wood for the weekend if there's none there could cost $50-$60.
4. Everything else was fantastic. Grill, kitchen utensils and appliances, beds, linens, furniture were all great.

Didn’t get to enjoy the area as much as I would’ve liked to. This cottage had everything you could need . Would definitely book again !!

Amazing 3 days/nights! My hubby & I wanted to get out of DC to enjoy a peaceful getaway & this was perfect! The cottage was little rough on outside, understandably for a 1920s cottage BUT lawn was beautifully mowed, plenty of firewood & SUPER clean & well appointed cottage. The library had an amazing assortment of WWII books & many others. Full size washer/dryer, new sheets, towels, shower curtain… very nice. Easy to get to and get in.. very quiet! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly Recommend!
