• Lovely Getaway

  Place was as described and in the photos. Very clean, nicely appointed kitchen, great yard for our dog to run around and play. Bathrooms were very nice and pretty much what you’d expect in a nice Marriott hotel.

  WiFi worked great, TV (didn’t watch much but it worked and all streaming services accessible).

  This place was perfect for out get away from NVA and for seeing CHO and the Southern Living Idea House in Keswick. Can’t recommend it enough!

• The perfect country get away!

  This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, country get away! It is so peaceful that you hear the frogs croaking and the crickets chirping at night. You can also enjoy fireflies (lightning bugs) at night. The yard is private, fenced in for dogs, loaded with fruit trees, well landscaped and had gorgeous blue hydrangea blooms.

  The house is well laid out, beautifully decorated and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. I definitely overpacked items I thought I would need during my two week stay, but this house has absolutely everything you will need. Just bring your clothes and food, the host has furnished everything else. It is well stocked, including soap, shampoo, lotion, garbage bags, dish detergent, spices for cooking, iron, ironing board, coffee maker with coffee pods and ground coffee. I could go on and on. The house has literally every thing you will need and lots of extras. It feels like home, away from home.

  Wifi and cell serve worked great despite the rural area. There area plenty of historic places to visit, restaurants and shopping nearby. The host is very kind and accommodating. Come experience it for yourself! You will be glad you did!
