  We had an enjoyable time. The community pool was small, but well maintained. The house is well located to attractions and does not have major defects. However, the tennis court surface is not really playable. The house is much more rustic in nature than might be implied by the photos or its location in a gated community. Nevertheless, if expectations are tempered the house offers the potential for an enjoyable stay.

  We embarked on a brief family weekend excursion in the vicinity, opting to stay in this remarkable cabin conveniently located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway within an exceptional gated community. The check-in instructions proved to be effortlessly comprehensible, facilitating a smooth and hassle-free entry. Notably, the property boasted an exquisite deck, providing an idyllic setting to savor our morning coffees in utmost serenity.

  To our pleasant surprise, the kitchen was equipped with an ample supply of coffee, accompanied by coffee filters. Furthermore, we found an extensive array of pots, pans, and baking sheets, ensuring that our culinary endeavors were adequately supported. The Wi-Fi signal exhibited remarkable strength, enabling seamless connectivity for all our devices—a vital necessity given the lack of cellular service in this area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were impeccably maintained, exhibiting a commendable level of cleanliness, while an abundant provision of towels, washcloths, and travel-sized toiletries further augmented our comfort. Notably, we were delighted by the inclusion of a picnic set and a readily available dog bowl upon our arrival.

  If I may express a minor concern, it would pertain to the somewhat perplexing configuration of the light switches. We encountered a slight challenge in discerning their respective functions. For instance, the light switch controlling the master bathroom shower was unexpectedly located within the confines of the adjacent closet.

  For our evening dining experience, we ventured towards the vicinity of Interstate 77 and relished a delectable meal at Pit Stop Pasta and Grill in Fancy Gap—an establishment we highly recommend.
