  Weekend trip with family. Home is a cabin, so very small and older. No air-conditioning so be prepared if weather is warm. The water has a very strong sulfur smell when running. You will need to bring water for drinking, brushing your teeth. The owners did advise us of this, but .there was also very low water pressure as well.Home needs a liitle more upkeep, Surrounding view is beautiful, kayak use on property was an added plus.

• Really dirty

  First impression,this cabin was very dirty . deep down dirty . please understand it wasn't someone stayed one weekend and the maid didn't make it to clean . it had not been cleaned in a while .

  being sence we came from mighigan we couldn't just leave . so we spent hours cleaning so we felt comfortable enough to hang out a bit . we swept,mopped(twice),disinfected kitchen & bathroom ,washed bedding&rugs . this was after I received an email saying Teresa didn't mind what time we check in "the cabin is ready" so imagine our surprise. The owners charge for a guest to bring a dig , which is quite funny considering the cabin was full of dig hair and dog food under everything in the kitchen. .

  Screen in porch was beautiful but extremely dirty as well . yard has a great view of creek but we didn't enjoy that either being the grass was long wet and Virginia has poisonous snakes. . when,I addressed these bug issues with the owner , I asked for 2 nights reimbursed . I booked it for 3 nights . we cleaned the first and left the third night because we just couldn't relax. I will be reimbursed for 1 night ( Thankyou teresa) but I'm still requesting another nights money back .

  Was the nicest and most peaceful get away for the weekend! Everything was super clean and we had the best time! I will Def. Be coming back! Teresa was very nice and on top of communication if I had a question. :) loved it!!!
