My brother and I stayed here for a few days in the spring as a nice break from work and to get in some fishing. The cabin is equipped with everything you need whether it be a short or long stay. There are plenty of pots, pans, and cooking utensils. You have a full kitchen at your disposal with a good size dining table and there is also a washer/dryer if you need them. There is plenty to do in the area, but there is also a TV with satellite service and a bunch of board games for rainy days. The property has a nice grill and a couple fire pits for roasting marshmallows with the family. There is also a wrap around deck with enough seating for the whole family to relax on. The only negative was that there are a lot of stairs to get down to the water, over 100 from the parking spot. Thankfully my brother and I looked at it as a way to get a decent workout in as we had to carry our 100lb+ kayaks down all the stairs plus all our fishing gear. The hosts are very responsive and checked in a few times to make sure our stay was great!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin for a spring break trip.
We visited Virginia Tech and the Cascades while we stayed.
We highly recommend eating at the Mason Jar that is right at the end of the road.

Had a great stay. It is a nice little cabin in a semi-secluded area. The cabin was very clean and well-equipped. We will definately look this one up next time we are in the area.
