    When I think off his vacation, I think of a hot house, frustration and stress. I might be willing to come back to this little paradise, but definitely not if it is managed by Evolve. Regarding the broken AC, Basic customer service was absolutely inadequate. The repeated lack of responsiveness and unscrupulous timing when they did respond was personally unnerving yet sincerely appears to be intentional and therefore unethical.

    Hi Caroline, we're sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand how frustrating it can be when things don't go as planned. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they’d like to provide some context and clarification:
    - We want to acknowledge that the A/C system at the property was brand new, but unfortunately, it malfunctioned before your arrival. We communicated this issue to you before the stay and offered the option to cancel with a full refund or continue with a discount. You chose to keep the reservation with a fair discount, acknowledging that you were aware and accepted the situation.
    - From our end at Evolve, we've reviewed our communication records and confirmed that we were responsive to your requests. The owner also responded within an hour of each contact and made every effort to resolve the issue promptly. Despite these efforts, including a technician visit, the repair was delayed because the necessary part was unavailable.
    - We've since installed two brand new A/C units, ensuring the property is cool and comfortable for future guests. As a gesture of goodwill, we also provided an additional discount on the already discounted stay.
    Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, we work hard to provide a wonderful stay and look forward to hosting many satisfied visitors.
