Dogwood Cottage/Altavista Trip
5/5 My husband, 1.5 year old and in-laws had a wonderful stay at this rental. We were welcomed with freshly baked pumpkin muffins and met with breakfast each morning from the host consisting of baked oatmeal, fruit, farm fresh eggs and fresh bread later in our stay. We came down for a cattle conference and then also visited nearby attractions in Appomattox and Lynchburg. We enjoyed a farm tour of the hosts’ property which we loved. The house was wonderfully decorated, accommodating, and very clean! They thought of everything! We hope to make a stop through that area sometime in the future. Wonderful views surrounding the property!

A wonderful stay in Alta Vista!
5/5 We were in town for a week long disc golf tournament outside of Lynchburg. After looking at our options in the area we chose Lisa and Dale's farmhouse bungalow in Alta Vista VA. It certainly lived up to our expectations and much much more! The home itself is lovely and newly renovated. The detail is unmatched to any other short term rental we have ever stayed in. The property is an oasis of rolling hills and meadows stretching as far as the eye can see. It truly is a story book cottage. If this weren't enough the hosts, Lisa and Dale, were exceptionally kind and generous. Each morning, breakfast would unexpectedly show up at our front door (fresh baked muffins, cakes, breads, fruit etc). It was all delicious! We had the chance as well to visit with Lisa and Dale who are wonderful people. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is one you will not forget! Highly recommend to anyone looking.
Peaceful in the Country
5/5 Great view from this lovely house. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Very comfortable inside. Enjoyed the swing and rocking chair in the porch. Will definitely stay there again!
