Absolutely Amazing
5/5 This location well deserves a five star plus rating. The home was so clean you could smell the cleanliness. The great room with the high ceiling was breathtaking. The room was decorated beautifully and with comfort in mind. The kitchen had everything you needed. And add the bonus of fresh sweet bread and farm fresh eggs from the hostess!! So many coffee selections for the Keurig and snacks for movie night. The wifi and cable connection was awesome and the tv was set up for whatever you wanted to watch. On to the master bedroom and bath. Both were huge and the bed was so comfortable. The entire house was decorated with high end choices and looked like it was just remodeled. My sister and I stayed for 3 nights and we are picky about our surroundings. Needless to say we had no complaints about the Dogwood Cottage!!

In town for a family wedding
5/5 Traveled from upstate NY to Altavista for a family wedding. Our 2 kids and their spouses stayed with us quite comfortably under one roof. Beautiful house, property and area. Would rent it again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the hospitality!
