Quaint and comfortable
5/5 We found the property to be quaint and very comfortable. We can see why some people say it is cluttered, but this adds to the harm of an older property, in our view. The property was well-stocked, clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was perfect for us (two occupants) for accommodation while visiting downtown DC each day.
5/5 Heidi made me feel welcome the moment she texted me to provide me with instructions to enter the property. The VRBO is conveniently located from the Metro, dockside, and Old Town, and is in walking distance to many restaurants, historical sights, grocery stores, and shops. The VRBO was just what I was looking for in a place that would remind me of our nation's inception. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast each morning before we headed out for the day. I loved being able to come home to a place that actually felt like home. I was able to relax each evening after a busy day of sightseeing. It was a bonus to have great weather and the colors of fall all around us. I absolutely will stay here again when I return. Thanks, Heidi!

Great location!
4/5 We had a good stay. The master bedroom is next to a busy road, so I found it useful to use earplugs at night.
4/5 Great location! As stated on an earlier review, bit tight with regard to space. Suggest to declutter. Also, recommend a more comfortable small sofa for front room. Would stay here again. I don’t recommend any more than a couple stay. There is a single bed but it’s a small twin. There is an air mattress but with the tight spaces, do not see where could set it up.
