Clean, convenient, and close
5/5 Our family recently stayed at this charming Alexandria townhome for spring break. We loved the cleanliness! It was a great location to all of the DC attractions and sites and conveniently close to stores and restaurants. We would stay again.

Comfortable, easy walk to transportation and grocery
5/5 We (3 adults, 3. Children aged 18mos-9 yrs) traveled from Oregon for my oldest brother’s funeral at Arlington Cemetery and we extended out stay to tour DC and Mt Vernon. We were depending on public transportation as we did not want to rent a car. The townhouse was more affordable than staying in nearby Arlington. It was very comfortable for us. Very clean. We appreciated the coffee supply, the high chair and portable crib for the baby. The children enjoyed the lovely park within the same block, Netflix for a movie after a day of touring. We averaged 6 miles a day walking and the kids were great. A 5-10 minute walk to a FoodStar grocery (fabulous ethic foods too!), 7-11, Popeyes & McDonalds, Opposite direction was a pleasant 15 minute walk thru the neighborhood to the Potomac Yard Metro Station and a small sharping center with Target, TJMax and a few restaurants. Taxi from the airport was $25. Uber was twice the price because there were 6 of us. The metro took us everywhere we wanted to go with the exception of Mt Vernon as we would need to connect with a bus and it took an hour. We used the local Alexandria taxi, $35. We would stay at the townhouse again. Everyone we encountered in the neighborhood and grocery store were very friendly.
