When we got to the house @ almost 4 pm,
( 3 )pm check in )
a gentleman was there just leaving , he just sprayed the house ,
Things appeared to be goos ,
We unpacked, including boxed food, butter , apples, bananas.
we went out for dinner,
Spent the whole next day at Zion,
When we came back to the house to cook some dinner, there were ants everywhere in the kitchen,
We spent over a 1/2 hour getting the ants off our food and had to put everything in the refrigerator & coolers, a few things I threw away,, it was so infested, I text the owner right away,
They never even responded, I was very disappointed 1) to have so much to deal with
2) that they didn’t even bother responding!
Definitely to much money for that kind of issues!

Hi Denise, we're sorry for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The house was sprayed thoroughly by pest control on the day of check-in after our cleaner notified us about the ants. Unfortunately, the increased temperature in the area led to a higher prevalence of ants than usual.
- Leaving food out may have attracted more ants. We recommend storing groceries appropriately to prevent this issue.
- The guest contact didn't receive any messages during your stay. We share the guest contact's information in the pre-stay information sent out upon booking and again before arrival as the best point of contact for on-the-ground issues as this ensures a prompt response.
We value your feedback and hope to continue offering a pleasant experience for future guests. Thank you for choosing our property.
Our group travelled to Utah for mountain biking and this was the perfect house for location, size, amenities, and comfort. We will 100% be booking here again next year. Can’t wait!

Katharina was a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, with easy to follow and clear instructions for the home. The location of the home is perfect - super close to all the outdoor activities you could want, within walking distance to a grocery store, and not far from the major centre of St. George. My reason for four stars rather than five is because some of the details on the listing are misleading. The two bigger beds are doubles (not queens), and the outdoor area no longer has any grass, so it is not quite as suitable for an "outdoor play area" now. The house is also off-kilter particularly in the main entrance area (can be viewed by the slant of the front door in one of the pictures) and into the main area of the kitchen. This was not a huge deal for us, but if you have issues with vertigo or a need for flat land, it could be very bothersome. Either way, we would definitely come back to stay here again. Katharina made things so easy for us and we had a really enjoyable trip to Utah! Thanks for everything!

It’s a nice area to stay if you’re hiking Zion. The house is dated and the house seems to be falling down the hill. There’s cracks on the floor and walls, the microwave didn’t work , our bedding smelled, there’s carpet stains and when we first walked in there was a dead roach waiting at the front door. It’s a good place for the price and if you’re just there to lay your head. Also there TV is not a smart TV. I would not stay here again.

We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to host you in the future and provide you with a much-improved experience.
Decent place to stay. Nothing real special but was very suitable for our stay. Was convenient to Zion but a ways from Bryce. Had a nice view off the back patio. Good for viewing sunsets. We spent most of our time out hiking and exploring so didn't spend a lot of time in the house.
Convenient full grocery store right up the street. Some good restaurants in the vicinity.
