In the summer, there's boating, hiking, and swimming at the private Ideal Beach, or you can hop on an ATV and ride from the cabin to the mountains! You'll have direct access from the cabin to ATV trails that span from Monte Cristo to Southern Idaho!
You will have full, free access to all of Ideal Beach amenities which include miniature golf (at a small fee), two heated swimming pools, hot tubs, beautiful sandy beaches, swings and playground equipment, 9-hole disk golf, acres of grass for Frisbee and other fun activities, craft activities for children, a small store with Farr’s ice cream, and discounted rental rates for boats, jet skis, wave runners and other beach-related toys.
If golf is your game, be sure to bring your clubs! The Bear Lake Golf Course is located just 1.6 miles away, offering 9 lush holes with stunning lake views.
Come winter, there is fantastic downhill skiing roughly 30 minutes away at Beaver Mountain Ski Area or snowmobiling directly from the cabin to the mountains.
For more family fun, Pickleville Playhouse Theater is about 3 miles away, Minnetonka Cave is roughly 1 hour away, and there are plenty of delicious restaurants within minutes of the cabin.

Great place for family with children
5/5 We stayed there for our family reunion, but only had one daughter and her family come with four children. We all had a blast on the Pickleball court and the playground and spending time at ideal beach and boating at epic. We loved our stay it had everything we needed and we had a wonderful time.

Fantastic Family Reunion Home
5/5 We love this home, perfect for our family reunion with plenty of bedrooms, eating areas and especially all the outdoor fun. Not far from the beach and the Picklehouse Playhouse theater. Perfect place for gathering everyone from all over the country.

Fantastic cabin with tons of space and outdoor amenities!
5/5 We stayed here for our family reunion with 25 people and we loved it! The outdoor space was fantastic and we had endless fun playing pickleball and riding our wiggle cars on the concrete. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of seating. Comfortable beds with space for everyone. We utilized the access to the Ideal Beach Resort, which was a great asset. The host was great with communication and made sure we were well prepared with all the information we needed. Hope to stay here again!

Great set up, wonderful owners!
5/5 Mel and Kathy’s home was a great place for our family reunion! There was plenty of space for everyone in our (15-person) party over the 3 floors, and the well-stocked kitchen and outdoor seating made meals easy for big groups. From pickle ball to basketball, swings and the hot tub, the outdoor activities kept the kids (and kids at heart) engaged, and was just a great set up. The lake views from the home were beautiful, and we definitely enjoyed the included beach resort pass for long afternoons by the lake. Mel and Kathy were wonderful hosts, providing a lot of information about the home and responding quickly when we ran low on a couple household items. We would definitely return again!
