We loved our stay!!! The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to feed our hungry family and friends. The cabin was clean and well organized it was easy to find the things we needed. Our boys enjoyed the trails while the girls enjoyed the fall colors and watching a movie in the basement. Host was very helpful and quick to respond. This is a great family vacation spot and we plan on making this trip a new family tradition.

Our extended family of 8 stayed for a Fourth of July getaway. There are plenty of rooms, beds, & bathroom's. The cabin is in a great location. The cabin has a lot of movies, games, and the kitchen was stocked well! There wasn't a lot of shampoo/soap products for use- but I usually bring my own do no biggie for us. Just mentioning for others- bring your own personal grooming products. Theres plenty of dish soap and other cleaning products. The washing machine and dryer were HUGE! & Worked great! There isn’t a main air conditioning for the cabin…. But there’s a window unit in the main room/ plus various fans around the cabin. With open windows and sliding glass doors the temperature was good. There are so many gathering places! On the deck outside, the main living room, the video room on the lower floor. Plus a Xbox my grandson loved. Also a fun game room upstairs. Most of our Fourth of July celebration were celebrated in Mt Pleasant- just about 15-20 minute drive down the mountain. Mt Pleasant had a grocery store, a hardware store, and a several restaurants. The cabin is equally close to Fairview… there just isn’t as much as far as stores and restaurants. Fairview does have an awesome museum/ that is free admission. Overall we had a great time! Communication was great with the host! Directions and instructions were easy to understand and follow.

It was a perfect getaway. We felt like we were all by ourselves in the mountains but with all the luxuries of home.
