Cabin at Duck Creek
5/5 We stayed at the cabin as a base for exploring Brice, Zion and Cedar Breaks. The cabin was wonderful and very cozy. We really enjoyed using the wood fireplace at night. We had a wonderful trip, thank you!

Cabin was great, but…
3/5 The cabin itself was great. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook, the beds were great, there was hot water, and the WiFi worked well. However…the heat was broken; the first night we were there was 25 degrees. Luckily the fireplace did a great job keeping us warm. The “guest contact” (property manager) didn’t answer our return my calls. It wasn’t until I text them with “911” that she responded. Her response was “here’s the owners number”. I don’t see the point of the manager. The owner was great and did everything they could to get the heat back on, but it needed a post not available on the weekends. All in all we did like the cabin and love Duck Creek. Was a little let down no monetary reimbursement was offered, but it is what it is. We were about $100 in on firewood and other fire starting supplies for the weekend. Had the heat not been broken in the first cold weekend of the season, this would have been an easy 5 stars.

- We sincerely apologize for the timing of the furnace issue, which unfortunately occurred just as you were arriving and the temperatures dropped for the season.
- We truly appreciated your understanding and worked diligently to try to get the heat repaired as quickly as possible, though the part needed wasn’t available over the weekend.
- We recognize that you incurred extra costs for firewood to keep the cabin warm in the meantime. We have followed up with Evolve and authorized a partial refund for the inconvenience and as a gesture of goodwill.
- Additionally, we’re addressing the responsiveness of our guest contact to ensure that all guests receive prompt assistance when it’s needed.
