Skiing can be found just minutes away at a number of resorts including Brighton, Solitude, Alta, and Snowbird! If you travel 30 minutes north, you'll stumble onto all of Park City and Deer Valley Resort. Needless to say, there's plenty of fresh powder for you to shred in the area!
When winter transitions to spring, a plethora of outdoor activities become available! Hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and rock climbing are all available just minutes away in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Popular attractions in the area include the Donut Falls Hiking Trail, Silver Lake, and Big Cottonwood Creek.
Make sure to check out Downtown Salt Lake City during your stay! Located roughly 17 miles north, the city features numerous attractions like Temple Square, City Creek Center, and incredible restaurants such as Current Fish and Oyster. There are also several family-friendly activity options like the Hogle Zoo and National History Museum of Utah.
Cottonwood Heights itself features plenty of shops and restaurants! The homeowner recommends Porcupine Pub & Grille as a great dining option.

Weekend Family Ski Getaway
5/5 Property was exactly as advertised. Very spacious and well equipped. We were easily able to access Brighton/Solitude and Alta/Snowbird for skiing. Property Manager was very friendly and helped make the stay more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Family Ski Getaway
5/5 This property was exactly as advertised. Very spacious and well equipped. Great location for Skiing Brighton/Solitude or Alta/Snowbird. We skied 3 of the 4 on our long weekend. The property manager was very friendly and provided great recommendations that helped us to have a more enjoyable stay. We look forward to staying here again!

Great Place to Stay and Very Well Located !!
5/5 We stayed here along with our 3 children, great place: clean, warm & cozy, well appointed, close to ski resorts as well as shops/restaurants, fabulous connectivity/wifi, great hosts. We stayed during peak snow season, the driveway (and our car!!) was cleaned every AM before we left for amazing powder days ... we didn't even have to ask or arrange in advance. The hosts were very respectful of our privacy yet available if we needed anything. Would absolutely stay again.
