  This unit had everything needed for our extended stay. Service is always top notch. Will definitely return, every summer as always. Communication was great.

• Great place for a weekend getaway

  We enjoyed our stay, the place had everything we needed. The kitchenette is small, you wouldn't cook elaborate meals. But good enough to make something like coffee, oatmeal, sandwich.

  The only thing to realize there is no AC (as listed in the description of property) which is fine as the nights are cool and there are fans.

• An hour before checking in . . .

  I stopped for gas and received a text from property owner telling us that construction was starting and most the amenities would not be available - sorry 😳

  I reached out to evolve and after being transferred to a couple different people I explained the text/situation. They offered to cancel and refund the reservation. We had booked thru Vrbo who surprise- don’t do same day reservation's- so evolve checked Arbnb but the options were not doable. Remember we are in a gas station on the side of I 15 trying to check other options. Nothing !! We had driven over 7.5 hours and decided just to get to the unit and make decisions afterwords. When we arrived we were greeted with scaffolding, roads torn up, caution tape around green areas. Entered the lobby to see more construction.

  Hotel staff were great, mgr stated that all owners had been notified way in advance 😳

  The property has been bought by Hilton and it doesn’t meet their standards and so is getting a total remodel. We were informed that no construction on weekends so that gave us time to change our plans.

  The unit is just like the reviews - cute but awkward - bedroom has the table to eat at/coffee maker and the living room has the closet - carpet was dirty.

  We were so tired and just happy to be in the mountains.

  Evolve texted us and we updated them on the condition of the property. They opened a case and said they would check into it. I notified them on Monday that the construction noises started at 7 am - so our long anticipated Pool/Spa quiet mountain retreat vacation was ruined. We got out an Utah map and off we went-using the condo as a place to sleep.

  Evolve called and I updated them - they said they would get back to us on a refund. Never heard back, but did notice a credit for one night on my credit card.

  I don’t think it is wise to use 3rd party booking - all pass the buck anytime you have an issue.

We let Evolve know that there was construction during the summer, which the travel sites should have updated, as well. Emails were supposed to be sent out timely to guests as a backup and we followed up via text. I am sorry that you were notified so late, which resulted in a disruption of your vacation."

• Small room

  Room was fairly clean with exception of the carpet which was a little dirty. Had to adjust to the very small kitchen area. Room is good for couples but not for a family with 2 little ones. Felt a little crammed. I do not recommend if you are claustrophobic. Be advised Cedar Breaks has private owners. During the time we were staying there was a constant dog barking into the late evening.

I will visit with the cleaning crew to make sure we are touching all aspects of the unit for a sanitary environment. Since the unit is separated into two main rooms, it does not have an open floor plan, which can give the unit a more cozy feel. The campus does not allow smoking and non-service dogs, so I apologize that a neighboring occupant appears to have ignored that rule, which disrupted your vacation."

  The condo live up to its name. It was very cozy. The view from the window is breath taking. The family room turned out to be most popular for us and we ended up sleeping on the pull out sofa because of the view and the firmer mattress on the pull out. The building is secure with inside garage parking, you can leave your skis at the front desk so you can take the shuttle to the lift without having to lugs your ski back & forth each day. It is walking distance about 5 min but it is an uphill on the way back from Navajo. The only issue we have is not the small kitchen but a small wetbar size sink. It makes it a challenge to do dishes since it does not fit in the sink. Some pot & pants are not non stick so be careful you dont burn it. The refrigerator was left on cold/cold so our fruits were frozen the next day. Overall it was a very cozy and pleasant stay.
