4/5 We rented before with no problem. This time I never got a hold of Jim our Guest host. Never returned my calls. The emergency contact, Vickie, her phone number was no good.
I emailed Jim, no response again. I needed the code for the door. I called Evolve and they tried to contact Jim, again no response. They finally got a hold of Paul, the owner and he said there would be a key in a certain place to get in.
The TV was not working. It took us 2 days to figure what was wrong with it. The fireplace did not work also.
Other than that, the house was great to stay in. The accommodations were great.

4/5 The guest host was terrible. No response to our communications! Only hours before we were to check out of other accommodation, we finally heard from him. The house was very clean and neighborhood was great. Perfect for traveling scenic highway 12.

A great place to stay while exploring Escalante
5/5 A cozy and clean home base for outdoor adventures in the Escalante, Utah area. We were comfortable and had everything we needed, they were very responsive!

Secluded
5/5 Very nice house. Decorated nicely and plenty of essentials. Nice area, beautiful back area/wooded Only negative thing was having a mouse (or 2 ?)We found mouse droppings on the counter after we were there a couple days. We didn’t leave food out. The day we were leaving, we saw a mouse in the TV room and kitchen. Not sure if it was the same one. If we not leaving that day, I would have contacted the manager to come and get it otherwise I wouldn’t stayed. I did let the manager know about the situation and he said it happens in the spring
