  • Perfect & Peaceful

    5/5

My husband and I stayed at this perfect & peaceful, home made granary getaway for our 20th wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved the quietness and natural beauty of this family memorialized building and location! The history, sweat and thought put into this metal memory is reason enough to come to Antimony! Marcia, the owner, is a sweet, personable, old time local, happy to swing by and give you a good old fashioned welcome. The place itself was clean, well organized and had everything we needed for a romantic, secluded weekend. We saw flocks of fresh water pelicans, Canadian geese, cows, baby deer and 4 wheeling locals enjoying this beautiful piece of rural Utah. We plan to come back with our daughter next time! Thank you so much Marcia, for your warm welcome and sharing your cozy tin cabin with us!

  • A little piece of heaven on earth

    5/5

Marcia's place is all that it promises to be in the pictures and so much more. The people that you get to interact with and just the amazing, raw, untamable beauty of the land where it stands are so so worth it! We couldn't recommend this place more. The old granary is adorable while being super comfortable and the view, THE VIEW! Sunsets and sunrises can't get better than that, and if you are looking for a stunning starry night this is the place for you. It was a magical trip for us.

  • Fun little place near more than you'd think.

    5/5

The silo is a unique and fun property. It is about 50 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park and about one hour and 20 minutes from Capitol Reef National Park. It is also just a minute or two away from Otter Creek State Park, where you can rent a kayak and head out on the reservoir. Space in the silo is a little tight, but it makes good use of what's available. If it rains during the night, it hitting the metal roof will likely wake you up. It happened to us. As it's a desert, that's not too likely to occur. Please note, there is no cell service within 30 minutes of Antimony in any direction. The mercantile does have wifi though. If you want to make reservations (like ATV rentals), I'd recommend arranging all that before you trip.

  • Perfect getaway!

    5/5

My husband and I loved the Silo. It was perfect for an off the grid getaway. We had planned on exploring all the national parks around Utah but we loved the Silo so much we spent most of our time there. Back porch sitting during the morning. Watching the hundred of different birds play in the creek below and watching the herds of cattle and deer come in and out of the alley. Beautiful! We spent our evenings around the fire pit mesmerized by the millions of stars you can see without any light pollution. An unforgettable stay for sure.
