My husband and I had a phenomenal stay at Longview Lodge! The cool breeze through the trees was a much welcomed retreat after long days at the nearby national parks. The location was within a 45 min - 1.5 hr extremely scenic drive to several parks (Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Staircase, Grand Canyon). We enjoyed the drives to the parks, then coming back to the cabin to grill up a home cooked meal (grill was directly connected to propane so didn’t have to worry about running out) and relax on the deck, which had a perfect view of the sunset. The bed was very comfortable which made getting up early to beat the park traffic much easier. Being able to get our laundry done on the last day before heading home was a much appreciated feature. We’d love to come back with a larger group (there were 2 additional sleeping areas upstairs we didn’t use with separate full bath) and stay a full week!
We had a great time staying at Longview. Our family of five enjoyed the views, the deck around the cabin, the firepit and stars in the night sky, and of course the Foosball table. We traveled to Zion and Bryce during our stay and found the cabin to be conveniently located. Since restaurants were closed in the evenings, we grilled and made dinner in the cabin. I would recommend the cabin to others looking for a quiet getaway.
The owner wanted to pass this along: Angie, I am glad you got to enjoy all the cabin amenities. The star gazing off the back deck is one of my favorite evening activities!
