Your centrally located retreat is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, a supermarket, liquor store, and a movie theater. A free public bus also stops right outside the front gate, offering easy access to superb attractions on the island, as well as Port Isabel.

    Poorly maintained and managed unit. The Ceiling fans in 4 different rooms were not programmed to work separately so a light or fan turned on in one room also turned on in three other rooms . It wasn't until the 5th night that someone came to fix them so that all of the bedrooms could use the fans overnight. There was no cold water in one of the bedroom sinks. There was no sink stopper in another sink to stop earrings from going down the drain. The patio door from the master bedroom could not be opened. Closet doors in the master bedroom would not stay on track. The table on the patio had a large hole on the top and was so worn and sun damaged it could not be used.

    The unit was also poorly supplied. The spices listed in the description consisted of one salt shaker, period. There was no sugar, no oil, no pepper, nothing else. There was no plastic wrap or foil.

    There was a broom, but no dustpan, and no vacuum.

    There were pots but only one frying pan, an 8-inch pan that was so burned and warped that it wouldn't sit on the burner. We had to buy one to scramble eggs.
