We were pleasantly surprised as we arrived at our location. My wife said, "Dan, this is probably the most beautiful location you have picked out so far"!! Very clean and up to date home on a ranch. We watched the deer feed from the feeder just 50-75 yards from the front porch. Our grandchildren sat with us and were so excited to see the cattle and deer. We fished in the pond catching perch and small mouthed bass (catch and release). The Cowboy pool was also a hit with gpa and the grandchildren. Plenty of sleeping opportunities for the 6 of us staying. We plan to return in the future as this was such a nice location for some relaxation and family time.
the children enjoyed the pool: everything else was good for the adults:

the house was perfect and had everything we needed. It was a wonderful experience and a really neat house to stay at. We loved the story about the house . We truly enjoyed our stay there.
What I enjoyed the most was the quiet. Just to sit outside and listen to the crickets and occasional moos from the cows roaming around. Such a beautiful property, I hated having to leave! My only negative would be the uncomfortable chairs in the living room, but that would not deter me from visiting again. Loved reading about the history of the house, thanks for sharing your lovely place in the country.
