4/5 The farmhouse was a nice getaway for the weekend. If you are looking for something out in the country that is quiet with lovely views of the surrounding pastures, this is your place! Although it is a bit remote, it is easy to get into some of the surrounding towns.

5/5 We loved our visit to the country! Enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning while watching the wildlife. The home has all you need so you can focus on unwinding. Beds and linens are comfortable, and the upstairs is nice for the kids to have their own space. We can’t wait to return!

5/5 In Central Texas for a big family wedding and The Roost was perfect for my wife & I, two children and in-laws. Home was built in 1883 and is in amazing shape. The gated parking was ample, the grounds were well maintained, beds & sitting areas were very comfortable, the WiFi did not let us down and the kitchen & bathrooms met our needs nicely. The property host was responsive & kind, and we look forward to our next stay at The Roost.
