3/5 The place was clean but the furnishings and bedding were low quality. The leather sofa has been replaced by a cheap upholstered one. The coffee situation left a lot to be desired and while they provide many types of 2in1 shampoo and conditioner, there is no body wash.

- The leather couch was recently replaced with a high-quality upholstered one due to damage caused by prior guests; the current sofa is a Pottery Barn piece that originally retailed for over $2,000.
- While we do provide a drip coffee maker and percolator, we understand preferences vary, and we also encourage guests to explore the excellent local coffee shops nearby.
- We regularly replace our bedding and aim to balance quality with the home’s affordability; the nightly rate helps make the property accessible to a wider range of travelers.
- Shampoo and conditioner are stocked in the home, and we’ll follow up with the property manager to ensure body wash is more visible or better stocked moving forward.

4/5 Our stay at this historic home was wonderful. The property itself was beautiful, in a great location & very comfortable. The communication with the property manager however was really poor. I contacted her 3 times in advance of our arrival with a query, but only heard from her a few hours before we were due to check into the property. My query was in relation to whether it were possible to have a pack & play at the property for my 2 year old, & while the listing doesn’t have this as an available amenity, the property owner herself contacted me & arranged to have one available for us at the property which we were so grateful for. We appreciate that she went above & beyond to do this for us - thank you.

4/5 The house was clean and kitchen updated. I was surprised that there were absolutely no staples in the kitchen: salt, pepper, cooking spray, etc. No ice in the freezer. And no dishwasher soap or shower soap. If my granddaughter wasn’t living close by, I would have had to buy a lot of items. The property manager was good about reimbursement for the broken coffee pot.
