• Loved our canal stay!

  We loved our stay over Thanksgiving at this perfect home on the canal. The location was perfect with views of water in all directions. Our teenage son enjoyed the downstairs room that felt like his own little apartment. We caught reds, blacks, and trout off of the dock as well as out in the bay. My husband loved being able to launch his boat right at the house. All the indoor and outdoor furniture was comfy and we felt right at home. Laura was such a gracious host and a great communicator. We would 100% choose to stay here again!

  This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we loved it. There were minor things that were not working like the green underwater fish light. The first time we stayed we enjoyed watching the big fish swim thew the light. The were some issues with the downstairs ac but we got a quick response about getting it fixed and luckily we were checking the next day. The hosts are very quick to respond to messages. The power went out for over and hour on our last night there which caused the bedroom light not to turn back on. No fault to the property owners though. We hope to be able to return again this winter. We love fishing from the private dock & catching crabs. Although I think the crab traps could use some repairs because the crabs we caught kept escaping. The kayaks are a lot of fun and it was a really relaxing trip in a beautiful house.

  We’ve been coming to Rock Port for family vacation for 16 years. This was by far our favorite rental. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were so comfy! The downstairs accommodations were perfect for my daughter, son in law and grandson to have some privacy and quiet time for naps. The fishing was great! The neighbors were helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back to The Pelican.

  This house is beautiful! We loved the decor, and the bed was super comfy! Loved the walk-in shower! The location is great! We saw dolphins swim right in front of us! We caught a few fish from the dock (the seagulls kept stealing our bait) and plenty of big crabs! The kitchen had just about everything you can think of, including a big pot to boil those crabs The only thing missing was crab crackers, but we made do and enjoyed our catch! We definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again!

  What a great getaway! The fishing was fun and kayaking with the dolphins at the opening to the bay was amazing!
