Short and sweet!
5/5 We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bobbie's Air BnB! It's right on the water - no sand - but a long pier to walk out on to enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and everything in between - even spotted a few dolphins between her pier and the next! Close enough to a few different beaches, the Aransas Wild Life Refuge, restaurants, and stores that it's really an ideal place if you are day tripping. It is small (just the lower level on one side of the house - the other side is a garage storage area and the entire upstairs is not part of the rental) but cozy for two. You won't be able to cook a complex meal, but a microwave and stovetop are available as well as a separate refrigerator and upright freezer. Bobbie was a great host - she greeted us on arrival, checked in with us a couple of times, provided answers for some local questions we had and was a very welcoming host!. Bobbie's banana bread was delicious - thank you! And she provided a nice touch for our 33rd wedding anniversary (champagne)! Not a place for luxury or pampering but a great place for getting away for a few days, just relaxing by the water, and taking in the surrounding area. Thanks!

Great getaway!!!
5/5 Accommodations were great!!! Host was very pleasant and available for questions. Fishing off the private pier was perfect. Besides having only one sink for bathroom and kitchen everything else was just what we needed for our small vacation getaway. Would definitely stay here again.

Birder's Paradise!
5/5 We could not have picked a nicer place to stay in the Coastal Bend. We went to see the Whooping Cranes, and stayed for the friendly people and fabulous food around the Rockport/Lamar area. The unit is quite small but plenty for the two of us, and the owner is a great decorator. Views from front and back! And we had no clue what a fun town the little artist's community of Rockport is. If you go, please buy local, as they were really hurt by the hurricane four years ago. And all along the coast, the seafood was out of this world! We would love to come back in the spring for migration, and will definitely stay here again. Thanks Robbie!
