Winter getaway in the Lone Star state
5/5 We enjoyed one of the coolest Januaries on record in this cozy, comfortable two-story home. Throughout the month, the owner was very responsive to questions about house issues. The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, in the historic Gruene district. We enjoyed exploring nearby attractions, always returning to the comfort of our VRBO rental. Highly recommended!

Surviving the cold in Texas
5/5 Unusually cold weather supplied a few challenges, but our landlord was always responsive and readily available. The home was well-furnished, situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the picturesque tourist destination of Gruene, Texas. Options galore--from busy- on-the-go touristy stuff to quietly soaking in the sunshine on the back patio. For us, a bit of both sides of the coin gave us many memories!
