  We did not stay after the first 30 min. Check in was at 3:00 pm and the cleaner was still cleaning and had her large dog in the house as she was cleaning. Also it was not smoke free, as advertised. The smoke smell was Very strong and we had a baby so that was a no go. Also there was liquor and food still in the refrigerator and bags of trash on the front porch. We tried to message, text, call the host and left a message but no one ever called us back. We were fortunate to book with another rental, not vrbo, for the stay and did not stay even one night in this house. Would not recommend anyone stay here. Also we unfortunately did not take pictures so are having trouble getting our money back, even though we had 6 eye witnesses.

This is not reflective of our usual standards, and we regret the frustration and inconvenience this situation caused. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, we had to rely on a new cleaning service on short notice. Unfortunately, the service did not meet the high standards we strive to maintain, and we sincerely regret that the home was not fully prepared for your arrival. Since then, we have taken immediate corrective action. Our longtime, trusted cleaning professional is back in place, and additional procedures have been implemented to ensure the home is thoroughly inspected and properly prepared prior to each guest’s arrival. Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment is very important to us, and we have taken steps to strengthen our processes moving forward.

  Nice location with a great restaurant in walking distance. Perfect sized house for four adults.

  We were greater by tons of dead plants, a bag of concrete, dirty mop bucket and a broken ice machine on the front entrance. Multiple dead roaches in the master bedroom, no, handle on the fridge and plants so overgrown in the back yard that you cannot see the river from the back porch.
