The description says 4 cars fit in the driveway. Upon arrival, we were informed it fits 4 SMALL vehicles after I had to message about not having space to park. The house was full of bugs and all of the outdoor furniture was covered in cobwebs and dirty. The loft upstairs stayed so hot that the kids didn't even sleep up there. The backyard looks much bigger in the photos. There was no space at all for kids to play. Also, there are so many stairs. I wasn't expecting that. There was no lighting outside, so that made it difficult at night going to the dock especially with the stairs. I asked about a light and was informed they must be burnt out. Overall, the house was still nice and we had a great time.

Overall we enjoyed the stay very much. Local Host was super responsive and accommodating, instructions were clear and concise. Listing pictures and descriptions were true and accurate to actual home.
Pros:
- location and overall spacious home
- deck and patio were great
- kitchen was well stocked for any type of cook
- lots of towels, beach towels provided
- plenty of places indoor/outdoor to lounge comfortably
Cons:
- Upper rooms and loft were warm even with AC cranked up. Floor Fans provided.
- Low supply of soap/dish pods/laundry pods/paper towels.
- weak WiFi (was expected)
I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation with a few exceptions. Check-in was quick and easy. My husband and I are both tv watchers, but the tv did not provide local channels and we do not subscribe to Netflix , Amazon, etc. So we could not see the tv. One of our contact persons was helpful in that she brought a DVD player and some dvds for us to look at while there. The accomodations were nice. The cleaning of the premises was insufficient. Dust on baseboards, windowsills and under furniture was very noticeable, also the patio doors were not cleaned. The view was spectacular from the deck. Since we are not boaters or jet ski riders, we enjoyed just watching those on the lake from the deck. Would return if premises are cleaner and local channels are available.
A little windy to tie boat to side of dockLots of boat traffic so lots of wavesGreat swimming areaGreat place for children to fish

This house should NOT be available for rent on VRBO.. The property is NOT AT ALL what is depicted in the pictures — it feels like the owners have abandoned the property. There are cobwebs and spiders THROUGHOUT the interior and exterior of the house. The lawn had not been maintained (and was calf-high grass filled with mushrooms, while all other neighboring properties had well-maintained backyards.) The upper deck of the boat house had a 2-foot hole rotten through that had been covered by an umbrella base — and multiple boards so rotten that an adult foot could depress the rotten plank. The 110V extension cord connected to the jet ski's battery trickle charger had fallen INTO THE WATER with the other end STILL CONNECTED to the DOCK POWER. The ‘fully stocked' kitchen did not even have a cutting board. There are inoperable doors (the sliding glass door does not work). The 110V receptacle plate near the fireplace had been melted by some heat source in the past and not repaired. The screens on the screened-in porch were not just torn, but SHREDDED. At least one interior door (the pocket door for the 1/2 bath on the main level) was MISSING A HANDLE. And the ratty 1980s towels should have been thrown out a LONG time ago. Oh, and the curbside trash can was already overflowing with trash in white kitchen bags upon our arrival. Not worth the money.

Hi Ryan, we take it seriously when guests let us know we missed the mark, but after following up with the homeowners, they would like to clarify a few points:
- The property is just as pictured in the listing and well-maintained.
- The kitchen is fully stocked and has a cutting board, though we're sorry if you couldn't find it.
- There is one spot in the screen-in porched that has become detached, but it is not shredded anywhere.
- We were unable to mow the lawn before your arrival due to eight straight weeks of rain, but it has been mowed now.
- There are no door handles missing anywhere, except for an owner's closet that only has a lock.
- There are a couple of bad boards in the top dock, for which we apologize. We have nailed new boards down, so it is safe to use.
- There are plenty of bath and beach towels, and many are new. The slightly older ones are there as extras, but all are in good condition.
- The house is not dirty in any way. Spiderwebs can form quickly on the patio and porch, but we spray continually, and they are cleaned in between each guest.
- There is one sliding door that does not work, and unfortunately, we cannot find anyone to repair it. Luckily, there is another door 20 feet from that one that works fine, so the broken door does not impact the guest experience.
We are confident that future guests will enjoy wonderful, relaxing stays here!
