5/5 Overall an amazing place. What you see on VRBO is really what you get. Many other places it appears one way in the pictures and in reality it's not they way you imagined it. Owner was responsive and easy to deal with. Great place, will stay here again

Excellent place to Stay
5/5 A few steps from the water on an amazing Deck! This beautiful large home had everything we could ever imagined. A place for the little. Games for the older kids, a porch to sit and enjoy the beautiful outdoors and our very own area to fish! We will be returning in the future. The best stay we have had. The Oyoque’s

Peaceful property
5/5 I’ve stayed at the Rhodes Retreat twice and had such wonderful experiences both times!
The first was with my family and some friends for a long weekend and it was so nice to relax out on the dock. We rented a boat and tubed around the lake and had such a great time and created wonderful memories. The fully stocked kitchen was great to be able to cook meals and the kids loved the bunk room and pool table! We laughed for hours playing poker and other games that were at the property.
The second time I stayed at the property was for a girls weekend with 10 ladies! The property is plenty big to spread out and the location was easily accessible to several Wineries that are on the East Texas Wine trail! We got a little swimming in off the dock but the best was waking up in the morning and having coffee / breakfast outside and listening to the birds.
Regardless of what you are looking for, the property is wonderful. Look forward to coming back again soon.

5/5 My family of 12 we loved everything about the house. We will definitely be back in the summer, perfect house even for everyone So many games and even a little bit of toys for the little ones to also enjoy them selves. The kitchen had everything you need as well. We didn’t really get to try the dock since it rain almost the whole time but like I said we will definitely be back, already look for dates in April.
